Key Responsibilities

  • Lead scheduling efforts for large commercial projects or multiple smaller projects.
  • Assemble, analyze, and prepare project information into clear, actionable documents to streamline planning and scheduling.
  • Develop detailed baseline schedules in collaboration with project teams and trade partners.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with schedules, identifying and resolving potential issues.
  • Input, analyze, and track design deliverables, procurement timelines, and construction schedules.
  • Create internal and external reports to communicate project status and forecasts effectively.
  • Maintain a database of schedule durations and leverage knowledge of construction logistics to develop accurate project timelines.
  • Review and critique vendor and subcontractor schedule updates, verifying their accuracy and alignment with project goals.
  • Proactively identify scheduling risks and recommend workarounds to keep projects on track.
  • Collaborate with project managers and discipline leads to assess progress and opportunities for improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7-10 years of experience in industrial or commercial construction scheduling.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration (preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and ERP cost management tools.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Proven knowledge of construction disciplines and project scheduling principles.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Experience with scheduling and 3D modeling is a plus.

Location and Work Arrangements

This role offers flexibility in work arrangements, with potential for hybrid depending on project requirements. The role spans projects across North America.

Compensation: $125,000 – $140,000 annually
