Manager Of Social Media

Key Responsibilities

As the Manager of Social Media, you will:

  • Drive Strategy: Develop a cohesive social media strategy that balances brand-building and sales-driving initiatives across appropriate platforms.
  • Lead Content Creation: Curate and distribute engaging, diverse content while fostering a strong social community around the brand.
  • Engage Communities: Partner with the Customer Service team to monitor online reputation, respond to inquiries, and identify engagement trends.
  • Leverage Partnerships: Collaborate with vendors, influencers, and store teams to create a robust brand ambassador and advocate program.
  • Protect the Brand: Audit social platforms to identify and address fraudulent activities and scams.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with PR, sponsorship, marketing, and design teams to create effective campaigns and support earned media efforts.
  • Monitor and Report: Track and analyze KPIs such as community growth, engagement, and revenue, presenting regular reports to key stakeholders.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Research emerging social media trends, experiment with new strategies, and recommend innovative ways to engage customers.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 4 years of social media marketing experience with a proven track record of success.

Skills & Traits:

  • Passion for social media content and active engagement in the space.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Action-oriented mindset, capable of prioritizing and delivering results.
  • Ability to thrive in both individual and team-based environments.
  • Professionalism under pressure and in high-stress situations.

Location and Work Arrangements

This role is based in Tyler, TX, at the company’s home office. Candidates must reside in the Tyler area or be willing to relocate.

Compensation: $65K – $75K
